Adios Henry, Ola Torres???

Excuse the late reaction to the Henry affair but here is my view... (not that its worth much but anyways)
Henry will always be one of the great arsenal players, i think we´ll be very lucky to see anyone else like him in our life time but as the saying goes ´life goes on´ and so it does. The one thing that has left a bit of a sour taste is the way Henry has gone about this - he hasn´t even been confirmed as a Barca player yet but he´s already giving out interviews about why he left which is another point - how can he say about Wenger not renewing his contract, he must know that this will destabilize the club even more so to me that's just being extremely disrespectful.
On to the transfer fee, if it is 16 million, then that to me seems quite low considering Chelsea paid 30 million for a 29 year old, but whats important is that Arsene gets every penny available for signings and that includes someone going around the staff canteen and checking the floor for any lose change that might have fallen out of people´s pockets.
Me personally would like to see Reyes go to Athletico Madrid and then we give them a little cash and in return we get Fernando Torres, I'm sure some people would disagree but i think he would do well playing in the premiership, especially with the likes of cesc and rosicky playing him in all the time.
On to my next point - our players and any players that come in the future must realise that they play for ARSENAL F.C and not Arsene Wenger, nothing pisses me off more than when you here players going on and on about how they love playing for Wenger and whilst i appreciate the mans a legend in his own right, he isn´t Arsenal F.C.
Anyway good luck Thierry just a shame you went about it in all the wrong ways.

Arsene Pulls a Rabbit Out of The Hat (literally)

Great news Arsenal fans, a very reliable source of mine phoned me last night to reveal that monsieur Wenger wasn't in his holiday home in Sardinia but was in fact in Barcelona tying up the lose ends on a mega deal that see's the buck tooth Brazilian Ronaldinho move to the Emirates in a deal that's worth a reported 90,000 grand a week. In return Barcelona will receive a cheque for 27 million that will unfortunately bounce and will leave Frank Rikarrd and John Laporta hopping mad. They will then turn on the T.V just in time to catch the end of an interview with Arsene in which he sticks his middle finger up and says something along the lines of "Fuck you, you cunts, that will teach you to come sniffing around our players" and we'll all live happily ever after.

P.S The T.V interview bit is a bit of a porky pie but the rest is true, i swear on my stick insects life.

Welcome to my new blog spot. Now I'm not the most technically advanced person you'll ever meet, but to me that's not important. What is important however is my favourite football team which if you haven't already guessed is 'The Arsenal'.
Now hopefully in a month or so I'll have a proper web site up and running once i get some free time and have learned how to make one but for now you can leave comments in the blog section or you can go to http://www.gunnerblog.com/ where i normally post (please note that although most of my comments on gunner blog have nothing to do with football, this site will do once it gets going!)
